Welcome to Van Heusden Vakantiepark; here is the information regarding your accommodation, where the keys are located, and other details you need to know.

Are you coming from Breukelen and crossing the Vecht bridge?
Turn left immediately and drive along the water "River de Vecht" for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the first T-junction. Turn right there, and then right again at the end of the road. You will then arrive directly at our park at number 24.

WHERE IS THE KEY TO MY HOLIDAY HOME?
You can pick up the key on weekdays before 5:00 PM at the reception/watersports shop at number 24.
On Saturdays, you can pick up the key before 4:00 PM.
Are you arriving later?
If the reception/watersports shop is closed, you can walk directly to your accommodation.

Park your car along the road and walk past the barrier, across the car park, and past the large warehouse towards the brick houses with thatched roofs. There is a footpath between these houses. All accommodations are located along this footpath, from start to finish.

The key will be inside the accommodation, and the door will be unlocked.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
Winter – 1 October to 1 April, on the road, parking is free during the winter.
Summer – 1 April to 1 October, Park in the car park at number 24, behind the barrier.

You can open the barrier using the small black remote/tag attached to the house key. Hold the tag against the orange post in front of the barrier. This applies to both entering and exiting. If you are leaving before opening hours, remember to drive out FIRST and then drop the keys into the letterbox (located behind the reception).

Number of parking spaces per accommodation:
1 parking space per chalet;
2 parking spaces per water villa;
An extra parking space for a car or trailer is available for €4 per day.

Park immediately after the barrier, either to the left or right alongside the large shed.
Do not park in spaces marked with house numbers or private license plates.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO PAY?
Upon arrival, you only need to pay the cleaning fee including the linen package fee. Please refer to your booking conirmation. The beds will be made up. 

Payment is made at the reception when collecting the key. In the event of a late arrival, payment can be made on the next working day. Please note: the cleaning fee must be paid in cash; debit card (PIN) or credit card payments are not accepted for tis item, although other ayments can be made card.

WANT TO GO FISHING?

Fishing is permitted only from your own terrace.
Fishing elsewhere in the marina, between the boats, or near other houses/chalets is not allowed out of respect for the privacy of other residents and guests.
You require a valid Dutch 'VISpas' (fishing pass). You can purchase this yourself via VISpas.nl. The cost is approximately €35 per year.

Please contact the reception for permission to fish from your own terrace in the marina.

DOGS ARE WELCOME! 

 

We warmly welcome dogs.

• Maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation; more by prior arrangement.
• Please bring your own blanket or sheet for the sofa and/or bed, or use the special dog blankets provided.
• Always clean up after your dog, both on the premises and along the road.
• Waste bags are available for this purpose along the road.
• Dogs must be kept on a leash in the marina area.
• Dogs may not be left alone in the accommodation if they bark excessively or cause damage to the furniture.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Information regarding the rental of boats, fishing boats, and bicycles is available at reception.

Drugs & cannabis: The use of drugs or smoking of cannabis is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.

Setting off fireworks on the premises is not permitted during New Year's celebrations.

CHECK-OUT
You must vacate your accommodation by 10:00 AM. A later departure is only possible by prior arrangement and costs €15 per hour.

• Waste: Household waste goes in the 3 black containers in the car park.
• Glass and plastic: Can be disposed of at the roadside opposite reception.
• Deposit cans and bottles: Place in the wheelie bin next to the black containers.
  Fridge & freezer: Empty them, but do not switch them off.
• Dishwasher: Turn it on. You do not need to unload it.
• Bed linen & towels: Please remove them and place them—along with the towels—into the laundry bags at reception.
• You can also deposit the linen in the designated ‘dirty laundry’ containers located outside, around the corner to the right of reception. These are the black containers with blue lids.
  Keys: Please return them to reception or drop them in the green mailbox located above the dirty laundry containers.

Saturdays: Summer season 10:00 to 16:00; from 1 October to 1 April, until 13:00.
